Ministry of Sound Classical at Dubai Opera, Amr Diab at Coca-Cola Arena, Plus a Festival of Lights at Souk Al Seef!

Morning!

A 31-piece orchestra is taking over the Opera on Saturday to play dance anthems from the 90s, which means a room full of adults will soon be doing the Sandstorm in good shoes.

Also this week: Amr Diab plays Coca-Cola Arena, Souk Al Seef lights up for Diwali, and there's a board game convention for anyone who still owns a dice bag.

WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

🎻 - Ministry of Sound Classical - dance anthems and a 31-piece orchestra
📍 - Dubai Opera
📅 - Sat 7th Nov
⏰ - 8:00 PM
🎟️ - From AED 350
📷 - @dubaiopera

The Opera's main stage hosts a 31-piece orchestra, vocalists and a full light show, recreating the biggest dance tracks from the 90s and beyond. The show has already sold out the Royal Albert Hall in London, so it arrives with form.

Darude's Sandstorm, Faithless's Insomnia and Fatboy Slim's Right Here, Right Now all get the violin treatment, so nobody has to explain why they're nodding along to a cello.

Brand new, vacant and seven bedrooms big, this Nad Al Sheba villa has a private lift running from the basement to the roof, a home cinema, a bar and a steam room below ground, plus a gym on the roof and a private pool in the garden.

Parking for twelve cars means nobody has to ask who's blocking the drive. Meanwhile, the rest of us still wait for the lift at the shopping centre.
